Viviene Astakhova

Artist (Watercolor & Ink) · Architectural and Spatial Representations

Viviene Astakhova is a visual artist with an architectural background, focusing on the depiction of architecture, space, and atmosphere. Her artistic education began in 2006 at the Lyceum of the Stieglitz Academy of Arts in St. Petersburg.

After completing her studies in architecture (until 2012), she went on to earn a Master’s degree in Journalism & Communication (2015).

Her work combines academically trained precision in space and perspective with a painterly sensitivity to light, atmosphere, and materiality—currently centered primarily on the urban environment of Vienna.

Site studies and artistic research travels (including Morocco, Nepal, Provence, Georgia, Israel, the Dolomites, UAE, Singapore, Hong Kong, Macau, and Tuscany) are an essential part of her creative process.

She lives and works in Vienna, Austria.
